Sacrifice Campaign

Sacrifice is an act of worship. Through our sacrifice campaign, we both facilitate the performance of an act of worship and deliver food to those in need. According to data from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, the annual per capita meat consumption is 4 kg in Bangladesh, 4.4 kg in India, 6.3 kg in Sri Lanka, 7.8 kg in Mozambique, 8.1 kg in Gambia, 8.5 kg in Ethiopia, 8.8 kg in Nigeria, and 9.6 kg in Tanzania.

Through its annual sacrificial animal campaign, Hasene Association delivers sacrificial meat to millions of needy people in more than 100 countries and regions every year.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is a Pool System?

Our sacrificial animal campaign operates using a pool system. This system allows us to perform slaughtering in locations where the price of a share is below €110, as well as in locations where the share price is above €110.

In which country is my sacrificial animal being slaughtered?

Due to the pool system, we don't send messages indicating which country the animal was slaughtered in. The important thing is to slaughter the number of sacrificial animals we received as a share. And that's what's happening.

Hasene helps thousands of people in need in Asia, Africa, South America, and Türkiye.

Are we receiving information that the sacrificial animal has been slaughtered?

Notification of the slaughter is sent to all donors who provided their contact information via SMS or email. Additionally, donors who provided their addresses are also notified by postal cards.

Receive instant SMS notifications on your Hasene Qurban (sacrifice) donation.

How can I make a donation for the sacrificial animal?

On our website, under the Online Donation section, select the Sacrifice section. Within this section, select the Sacrifice Campaign and specify the amount you wish to donate. Then, press the continue button, and on the page that opens, fill in your information completely to make your payment. You can make your donations comfortably with our secure donation system.

Alternatively, you can fill out the information in the flyer below and send it to us.

You can also initiate the process by contacting our country and regional representatives .

How can I grant power of attorney?

Our sacrificial animal envelopes contain a statement confirming that the authorization has been received. Furthermore, when a donation is made with the intention of offering a sacrifice, it means you have given authorization, and we, the recipients, have received authorization. The intention is what matters here. Otherwise, attempting to collect authorization directly from tens of thousands of people would jeopardize the smooth operation of such a large organization.
